Operations + Customer Service Associate

Alice + Whittles is looking for an Operations + Customer Service Associate to join our team. Working directly with the Operations Lead + Customer Service Lead, to help create a streamlined, positive customer experience journey. We are looking for an energetic, extremely organized and detail oriented Associate who can make our customer journey an amazing one from the first time a customer gets in touch for support to delivery .
  • Approximately 38 hours/week
  • Remote 
  • Monday to Friday working hours
  • Start date: as soon as possible
Operations Responsibilities (approximately 2-3 hours a day) :
  • Use inventory, accounting and ecommerce software platforms to manage sales orders, returns and exchanges.
  • Liaise with Distribution Centres to fulfill orders, manage stock transfers and ensure accurate inventory movement.
  • Liaise with software development and accounting support teams to establish Standard Operating Procedures for fulfillment scenarios.
  • Manage all day to day operational needs to keep the marketplace programs running smoothly..
  • Other duties as directed by management, in support of company goals.
Customer Service Responsibilities (approximately 2-3 hours a day):
  • Point of contact for day-to-day customer inquiries and concerns and elevate the customer experience (email, chat, phone, etc)
  • Increase customer satisfaction by understanding their needs and by responding to them promptly and efficiently
  • Communicate promptly concerning customer orders, returns, refunds, technical help, stock search, general inquiries and more via phone, email, live chat and social media in a timely manner.
  • Ability to provide the team with feedback as it relates to return policies, FAQ, and anything else related to serving our customers to better their experience.
  • Keep records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions, are taken.
  • Working closely with the Customer Service Lead to streamline the customer experience.
  • Absolutely love customer service and consider customer service as the backbone of any business.
  • Enjoy hands-on approaches and love tackling new challenges.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills, and ability to use the phone, email, chat and social media to connect with customers.
  • Experience with Shopify, Reamaze, Returnly is considered a plus.
  • Extremely organized + high attention to details.
  • Experience in eCommerce team is strongly preferred.
  • Time management ability to ensure that work is completed within specified time and quality parameters to meet the company demands.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Google Docs Editors suite, including Google Docs and Google Sheets.

Graphic Designer

Alice + Whittles is looking for a part-time graphic designer to support the development of our content across all channels. This position will be key to developing the digital presence of our brand, and helping to deliver strong storytelling on a consistent basis. 

  • Part-time (15-20 hours per week) to start.
  • Remote 
  • Monday to Friday working hours
  • Start date: as soon as possible


  • Digital layouts for website, newsletters and social media.
  • Design compelling graphics to be used on media platforms 
  • Design and creation of print-ready artworks for packaging, postcards, etc.
  • Design compelling packages for influencer & press gifting
  • Assist in the development of marketing campaigns
  • Responsible for the development of weekly digital ads for Facebook &  Instagram 
  • Developing innovative design concepts and initiatives for the brand


  • You have a keen eye for design and trends and appreciate a fun, outdoor but minimalist aesthetic
  • 2+ years experience in delivering high quality, consistent graphic design work
  • Highly proficient in Creative Cloud - Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects, PremierPro
  • Ability to create and edit simple video content and motion graphics for social media
  • Previous experience designing and creating newsletters
  • Strong understanding of the digital landscape and social media platforms
  • You work well under pressure and are able to multi-task
  • Enthusiastic, can-do approach 
  • Possess an entrepreneurial spirit and continuously innovates to achieve great results
  • No task too small attitude, willing to wear multiple hats in small team environment
  • You’re passionate about the future of fashion and manufacturing, and have an understanding of the sustainable fashion landscape


  • Have previous experience using and managing an Instagram account would be considered a plus.
